Kevin Munsamy
Managing Director:
Kevin Munsamy, Director of KCM Environmental Services, brings over 13 years of experience in engineering and environmental management. Holding a BSc (Eng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, Kevin is an expert in air quality monitoring and environmental legislation. A strategic leader, he ensures the company has the right resources to meet client needs, constantly evolving to stay ahead in a dynamic industry. Passionate about sustainable solutions, Kevin is dedicated to driving excellence and innovation at KCM Environmental Services.
Siphelele Dlamini
External Sales Representative:
Siphelele Dlamini holds a degree in Geography and Environmental Management and a vast of other environmental related qualifications. He is a registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP). Sphe specialises in these kinds of services : EIA Inquiry applications; Basic Assessment reports; Scoping and EIA reports; Section 24 G applications; Public Participation processes (PPP); Environmental Control (ECO) Services and Environmental Reporting; Compilation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Environmental Management Programmes (EMPr); Waste Management (General and transportation of waste) Waste Licenses; Water Licenses; Sustainability Reporting; Mine Rehabilitation and Implementation of Environmental Projects (Recycling Projects).
Fathima Ally
Technical Manager:
Fathima Ally is the Technical Manager at KCM Environmental Services, bringing a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She oversees technical operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, managing complex data analysis, and preparing detailed technical reports. Fathima leads project teams, coordinates resources, and ensures that all work meets the highest quality and safety standards. She stays up-to-date with the latest environmental regulations and technologies, driving innovation and ensuring KCM delivers efficient, sustainable solutions to clients. Known for her attention to detail and leadership, Fathima plays a pivotal role in the company’s success and continued growth.
Yovani Naidoo
Report Coordinator:
Yovani Naidoo holds a BSc (Honours) in Biological Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and brings two years of experience in data analysis, technical writing, and project coordination. With a proactive problem-solving mindset and a self-driven approach, she is a well-rounded professional with a broad range of skills and experience. Yovani excels at ensuring environmental reports meet regulatory standards and deliver actionable insights. Outside of work, she is passionate about conservation and volunteers with local environmental groups. Her expertise and dedication make her a key contributor to KCM’s mission of providing responsible, transparent environmental solutions.
Thandanani Masuku
Senior Field Technician:
As a Senior Field Technician at KCM Environmental, Thandanani Masuku leads complex field assessments and ensures the precise collection of environmental data. With extensive experience in conducting surveys, monitoring environmental conditions, and overseeing the operation of specialized equipment, Thandanani plays a key role in delivering high-quality results that support KCM’s sustainability initiatives. Known for a sharp problem-solving ability, leadership skills, and a deep passion for the environment, Thandanani thrives in challenging, dynamic field environments.
Njabulo Dlamini
Field Technician:
Holding an MSc in Geography, Njabulo Dlamini contributes to field operations and data collection with a keen eye for detail. He assists with site assessments, monitors environmental conditions, and ensures the accuracy of data collected during fieldwork. Known for his enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and eagerness to apply his knowledge in practical settings, Njabulo is committed to both personal growth and the success of the team. When he’s not on-site, Njabulo stays up to date with the latest trends in geography and sustainability while also creating engaging media content for the company’s social media pages, helping to raise awareness and promote KCM’s environmental initiatives.
Masha Ramsamooch
Junior Environmental Consultant:
Masha Ramsamooch is a Junior Environmental Consultant with a strong foundation in environmental sustainability and marine biology. With a focus on tackling key ecological challenges, Masha has honed her expertise in addressing plastic pollution through strategic project coordination and data-driven solutions. Her ability to navigate complex environmental issues, combined with a passion for marine conservation, allows her to contribute effectively to vital environmental protection efforts. Sharlyn Govender
Junior Environmental Consultant:
Sharlyn Govender is a Junior Environmental Consultant with an Honors degree in Environmental Science. Driven by a passion for nature conservation, Sharlyn has developed expertise in environmental testing and pollution assessment. His experience includes conducting Isokinetic stack sampling to evaluate pollutants and assess atmospheric emissions, in line with environmental regulations. Sharlyn has also gained valuable experience in marine conservation, monitoring seawater quality, and conducting a range of chemical and microbiological tests to ensure healthy aquatic ecosystems. His commitment to environmental sustainability fuels his dedication to advancing effective, science-based solutions for preserving the natural world.
